Well i have to be honest - I have had XSitePro sitting on my computer practically untouched for almost a year. I did use it when I first got it, but got stuck with things like form creation and putting adsense in where I wanted it.
When I got the email about upgrading to version 2 I decided that I should get serious with the program So I watched the video about all the extra features, and thought WOW!! Head knowledge doesn’t make web sites though, so my goal this week has been to learn how to use the software properly.
Richard Butterworth has been doing a series of 3 webinars demonstrating how to use XSitePro 2, and so far I have seen 2 of them. The second one, yesterday made far more sense as I had started to try out the XSite Pro software. The blurb said it would take about 2 hours to make a site through going through the tutorial, and so thats what I did.
So far I have got to designing a site, and I am pleased with my creation. It is very easy to change colours through out the site, as you only have to change it once, and not on every page. being me it took several ‘try and see what it looks like’ attempts before I was happy with my combination of colours.
